Carnaroli Risotto Rice, 500g
Carnaroli is the most widely used rice in Italian cuisine, and is a delicious rice that is highly prized. Like arborio rice, it’s used for making risotto, but it has a higher starch content, firmer texture and longer grain than its more widely known cousin. It also keeps its shape better than other risotto rice due to its high amylose content. Carnaroli isย medium-grained and is grown in the Pavia, Novara and Vercelli provinces of northern Italy.
