Looking for some delicious home-made fresh food or Italian deli treats?
Amaretto Deli Norwich is an award-winning deli kitchen and take-away opposite St Andrew’s Hall, just up from the Art School on St George’s Street.
Our window is filled with fresh cakes, sandwiches, soups, home-made sausage rolls (including vegan sausage rolls) and Italian street food specials like arrancini and our daily hot dishes. As all the students know, we serve delicious fresh pizza slices as well as excellently priced Italian takeaway coffee, hot and cold drinks and ice-cream.
We also offer all sorts of deli treats of course: salami, olives, cheeses, local food and Italian specialities as well as bespoke hampers and foodie gifts. Our food and hampers are available online for delivery in Norwich NR1-7 through our online shop or at 16 St George’s Street: perfect for Christmas or birthday presents.
We have a few lovely tables under the arches of St Andrew’s Hall or directly under our awning for those who want to sit down and there are lots of lovely places to sit in the square too.

We sell a lovely range of Italian Christmas food every year; treats that make for original stocking fillers or that look great in a Christmas hamper (see below).
Hampers, Gifts and Online Shop: How to Order & Pay
All of the food in our shop makes for a delicious hamper: we’ve been preparing bespoke gift hampers for customers for many years now, especially at Christmas time! Just choose any of the items from the shop and we’ll make them up into a hamper for only £4.95 extra. You can also order a gift hamper online to be picked up at the shop or delivered; we deliver to Norwich NR1-NR7, minimum spend £10.
We’re taking orders for our Christmas hampers now: sweet, savoury or a mix of the two, it really is up to you.
Buffet food and celebration cakes for collection and delivery, Norwich
If you’re a larger group (five or more) looking for a special treat we offer a competitive catering buffet service or celebration cakes for that special occasion. Dietary requirements catered for as far as possible.* This service is not yet available through the online shop.
Are you a student?
Amaretto Deli offers a great discount for students of up to 25% on selected take-away products: pizza, hot meals and sandwiches. Please ask in the shop, student ID will be necessary.
Gluten-free & Vegan Options*
We offer a rotating range of gluten-free and vegan options, which we are always looking to expland. Our GF pizza is particularly popular, we also have a range of cakes, hot meals and sandwiches on offer too, as well as dried goods in the shop.
*Please note that we regret that our set-up means that we cannot guarantee products are 100% free of allergen particles.
